Hospitality9ja is an online marketplace that connects travellers with verified hotels, apartments, and resorts across Nigeria. We charge a 10% platform fee on all completed bookings, which is deducted from the total booking amount before payment to property partners.
2. User Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your login credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
3. Booking Policy
When you make a booking through Hospitality9ja:
- A binding contract is formed between you and the property
- You agree to pay the total amount displayed, including the 10% platform fee
- Hospitality9ja acts as a payment intermediary and marketplace facilitator
- Check-in/check-out times are as specified by each property
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policies vary by property. The specific policy applicable to your booking will be clearly displayed before confirmation. In general:
- Free cancellation is available for most properties up to 48 hours before check-in
- Late cancellations may incur a penalty of 50-100% of the booking value
- No-shows are charged at 100% of the booking value
5. Platform Commission
Hospitality9ja charges a 10% commission on all completed bookings. This fee:
- Is automatically calculated and displayed during booking
- Covers platform maintenance, marketing, fraud protection, and customer support
- Partners receive 90% of the total booking amount
6. Prohibited Activities
- Creating fake reviews or ratings
- Circumventing the platform to book directly (to avoid commission)
- Using the platform for any illegal purpose
- Misrepresenting your identity or property information
7. Limitation of Liability
Hospitality9ja's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts.
